The Mozart Cadenza Competition

There will be 4 Prizes:
One 1st Prize for under 25's of £200
One 1st Prize of £100 for over 25's
A 2nd Prize of £100 to one person (who might be in either age group)
Two 3rd Prizes of £50, one from each of the two age groups

Requirements:
1st movement of Concerto in G only.
A copy must be sent to  BFS Cadenza Competition, Tamley Cottage, Hastingleigh, Ashford, Kent, TN25 5HW, UK or can be submitted at the Convention Desk in Manchester by noon on Saturday 19th August 2006.
The entry must be legibly written on manuscript or printed from a computer composing program (e.g. Sibelius). Electronic submission on disk or other media are NOT acceptable.
Each entry must be signed by a teacher or the competitor to certify that the entry is entirely the unaided work of the competitor.
The judges decision will be announced at the Gala Concert and will be final.
No correspondence can be entered into regarding the style, length, use of material or any matter related to the composition of the entry.
The winning entries may be published in Pan and by entering the competitor gives their permission for the work to be published in Pan.
Entries will only be accepted from members of the BFS attending the full Convention.
If, after the Competition winners are announced, it is found that a winning entry contains previously published or performed material, the prize money will be forfeited at the discretion of the judges.
