BFS Flute Day

The British Flute Society invites all flute players to a day of ensemble playing, workshops and masterclasses in Sheffield city centre, including flute choir sessions, tone, Alexander technique and flute maintenance, ending with an informal performance. We are delighted to welcome our guest tutors for the day:
Laura Jellicoe, flute tutor at Chetham's School of music and senior tutor in flute at RNCM.
Dana Morgan, flute tutor at Nottingham University and the University of Sheffield.
Mel Orriss of Wonderful Winds publishing company and flute days.
Lynne Williams, repairer at Lynne Williams Woodwind.
Lucy Ascham, Alexander Technique teacher with a specialism in working with musicians.

Open to flautists of all levels and ages. Under-16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (please book a free 'non-participating adult' ticket for parents/guardians).

Adults: £35 (BFS member)/ £40 (non-member)
Concessions: £25 (BFS member)/ £30 (non-member) - under-18s, students and senior citizens.
