The new issue of Pan is out - and it's a very special one, celebrating the life of the incomparable, much-loved and very much missed William 'Wibb' Bennett.

In the words of our Chair Lisa Nelsen, 'there are some beautiful, heartfelt and very funny tributes in this Special Issue, and we would like to express our deep gratitude for all that Wibb inspired in his lifetime as a musician, flute player and human being. He will be greatly missed and his words and music will live on through his friends, students and colleagues.'

It's only fitting that Wibb’s teaching room is the cover of this issue - thank you Alena Walentin for the moving photo, and many thanks to everyone in the flute community who shared their memories and pictures of Wibb.
